Radiance HistaEze Combines Quercetin and Bromelain, which work together synergistically to provide anti-inflammatory and antihistamine support for allergic conditions such as hayfever, hives and eczema, and may also help with pain relief due to inflammation in the body, in conditions such as sports injuries, headaches and strained muscles. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid which has been extensively researched world wide. Bioflavonoids are found in plants, usually alongside vitamin C, in barks, and rinds, seeds, flowers and leaf pigments of many fruits and vegetables. Flavonoids, particularly quercetin are known to promote an inhibitory effect on the production of pro-inflammatory compounds such as leukotrienes and histamine in the body. Quercetin also maximises the actions of vitamin C, and it helps to stabilise cell membranes, including those of mast cells. The Quercetin contained in Radiance HistaEze is derived from a non-citrus plant source, making it suitable for people with allergies including citrus fruits. Bromelain is a potent biologically active enzyme derived from pineapple which enhances the absorption of quercetin and has many health benefits of its own. It has been shown to also have anti-inflammatory properties, and in particular, helps to relieve the pain and congestion of inflammed tissues. Additionally, it helps to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins. Other benefits of Bromelain include anti-microbial action, especially for infections of the intestinal tract), and a beneficial action on our blood factors that help maintain healthy blood flow.
