Reishi Mushroom Extract

The Reishi or Lingzhi mushroom is well known for its immune modulating, anti-tumour and blood pressure lowering effects. In ancient China it was referred to as the mushroom of immortality and eaten exclusively by royalty due to it rarity. Medicinal use of Reishi dates back over 4000 years. Researchers have also identified a class of triterpenes known as ganoderic acids also found in Reishi which may help alleviate common allergies by inhibiting histamine release, improve oxygen utilisation and improve liver function.
