The borage oil in this product is sourced from the borage seeds (Borago officinalis) and stabilised. Borage is the richest plant source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which is an omega-6 essential fatty acid.

GLA is important for the synthesis of good prostaglandins which are involved in immune system regulation. Prostaglandins are hormone-like substances in the body.
