Boswellia Serrata, also known as Indian Frankincense, is commonly used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for its ability to regulate a healthy inflammatory response. Derived from the resin of the Boswellia tree, it is commonly used to manage inflammatory disorders such as arthritis, asthma and inflammatory bowel diseases. The active component, Boswellic acid, is also thought to have anti-carcinogenic, anti-tumour, and blood lipid lowering properties.
