Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a fatty acid with vitamin-like functions of stabilising cell-damaging free radicals, maintaining normal blood sugar levels, and recycling the antioxidant vitamins C and E. It is known as the “universal antioxidant” because it is soluble in both water and fatty environments. ALA is also a coenzyme that aids in proper glucose metabolism to supply energy to the cells.
