Flaxseed oil is derived from the seed of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). Flaxseed oil is one of the richest sources of Omega-3 essential fatty acids (ALA) - at 55-60%. Omega-3 essential fatty acids are important part of our diets. Melrose Flaxseed Oil is cold pressed at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in order to reduce the potential to oxidise.
